Pelican Upgrades New Rechargeable Recoil Lights With Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries
In their continuous quest to perfect their technology, Pelican Products, Inc. a leading manufacturer of safety approved, technically advanced flashlights, is upgrading the rechargeable batteries in its flashlights to Nickel Metal Hydride.
The recyclable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries will double Pelican's rechargeable light run time, and are a cutting edge, renewable power source that does not suffer from the energy-depleting, memory effect that other rechargeable technologies do.
Beginning with the 2460 StealthLite Recoil LED and 3660 Little Ed Recoil LED Rechargeable, the whole Pelican rechargeable light line (Both LED and incandescent) will be engineered to feature the new batteries and charger bases.
The new lights will combine the Nickel Metal Hydride's battery efficiency with the incredible brightness of Pelican's exclusive Recoil LED Technology. Acting like hand-held lighthouses, the Recoil lights shine a 1-watt LED backward at a parabolic mirror to capture 100% of the total light to blast a brilliant collimated beam.
The 2460 StealthLite Recoil LED Rechargeable will boast a brilliant 28 lumen stream of light, a battery burn time of 32 hours, and sport a convenient side-mounted switch for easy one-handed operation. It's submersible up to 500 feet and is constructed Pelican tough with ABS plastic and a polycarbonate lens.
The 3660 Little Ed Recoil LED Rechargeable combines the design of one of Pelican's most popular lights in the industrial and emergency/fire fighting markets with a brilliant 28-lumen beam and a lengthy 32 hour run time. The light is safety approved, water-resistant and constructed of nearly indestructible ABS plastic with a polycarbonate lens. The 3660 also sports a stainless steel clip for easy hands-free operation and an ergonomically correct front mounted switch for convenient glove use.
Like all Pelican products, the lights are backed by Pelican's Legendary Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence, "You Break It We Replace It Forever."
