Video: Diving the YO-257 Wreck in Oahu, Hawaii

The YO-257 wreck is located just off Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Not only is this wreck noteworthy on its own but it’s within fin-kicking distance of another purpose-sunk artificial reef, the San Pedro.

However, the YO is more intact and has a lot to offer divers with multi-levels of exploration at any depth. Weather has not been as kind to the San Pedro but it is still an awesome experience to be able to dive two wrecks at one time. The Atlantis passenger submarine is known to frequent this dive site, meaning it is quite possible to not only dive two wrecks but see a submarine —all on just one dive. Where else can you see three ships at one site?

This dive is a must when visiting the island of Oahu!
