This device transmits cellular data beneath the waves, allowing for an unprecedented ability to share the underwater world. The surface float relays the cell signal down a cable to an integrated universal smartphone housing with full touchscreen control.

The system is ready built for livestreaming and making video calls to share the wonders of the ocean with viewers above the waves in real time. However, with full access to a smartphone’s apps and settings, and a reliable internet connection, the possible uses for education, conservation and exploration are practically endless.

The system features a modular design for easy disassembly, travel and maintenance. The housing can be expanded with lights and other accessories. The 98-foot (30-meter) cable connecting the two components uses a smart-lock retractable wheel, enabling easy operation by a single diver. The system is compatible with multiple phone service providers and smartphone models and has a bluetooth module to connect to underwater headphones and micophones in a full face mask.
