Subgear SG500 Regulator
Subgear’s SG500 has been given a new name, but underneath this fresh moniker is the same high performing reg that earned a Best Buy rating in a major ScubaLab regulator review. The SG500 offers a balanced diaphragm first stage with a dry ambient pressure chamber. Two of its four low pressure ports are high flow which deliver 15 percent more gas than conventional LP ports. The second stage comes with a diver adjustable venturi switch and an orthodontic mouthpiece. The SG500 was able to both achieve—and exceed—ScubaLab’s rigorous breathing machine tests. In real-world diving it’s a sweet breather in all diving positions and dry as well.
