Courtesy CitizenBuilt to meet the demands of professional divers, this light-powered 300-meter Promaster diver can operate for a whole year on a single charge.
The Promaster Dive E365 features heavy-duty construction and a reliable operation with a super long–lasting power reserve. The resilient, reliable timepiece uses several sustainable components that protect the planet without compromising safety and performance.
The sturdy silver-tone stainless-steel case is 46 mm wide and 16.3 mm thick. Depth-rated to 300 meters/980 feet, it is specifically designed for commercial divers whose work takes them deep into the sea, where darkness and bone-chilling cold are constant companions. Large glow-in-the-dark hands and markers ensure maximum visibility in underwater twilight. The one-way elapsed-timing bezel extends prominently and has large grooves for easy operation when wearing gloves. An included strap extension ensures wearability with even the thickest wetsuit or drysuit. The case sports a helium escape valve at 2 o’clock—a specialized feature that is important for saturation divers who often spend days or weeks in pressurized habitats.

The watch is equipped with an Eco-Drive movement, which eliminates battery waste, reduces maintenance and provides reliable, continuous operation with exposure to natural and artificial light. On a full charge, the new E365 movement can run for 365 days—an entire year—in complete darkness without missing a beat. The watch strap provides a similar combination of sustainability and performance. It is made of BENEBi-OL PU, a plant-based polyurethane that has a lower environmental impact and resists degradation in the presence of moisture.

The Promaster’s size and weight perfectly complement its rugged specs. The large case size and bold, contrasting characters on the black bezel easily catch the eye. It has a noticeable heft befitting its status as a premium, professional instrument. Although it is heavier than a typical diver, it remains comfortable during daily wear. The end of the strap is slightly enlarged, providing a safety catch should the heavy watch slip off the wrist while operating the buckle.
The dark red dial feels both refreshing and appropriate on this commanding, heavy-duty diver. The depth of the dial underneath the sapphire crystal adds visual interest that is complemented by the subtle graduation to black toward the bottom of the dial—a visual touch invoking the mystery and darkness of the ocean’s depths. The caseback is engraved with the image of a hard hat diver.
The Promaster Dive E365 meets the demands of the deep and provides an ergonomic, eye-catching design that lends the wearer an air of serious underwater exploration.

THE GREAT ESCAPE Helium-rich gas is used for extremely deep dives to mitigate the dangerous effects of nitrogen and oxygen at these depths. By adding helium, an inert gas, to the diver’s breathing mix, the partial pressures of nitrogen and oxygen can be kept within safe limits to prevent nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity. Helium has a very small atomic structure. Under pressure, such as in a diving bell or saturation diver habitat, it can squeeze into even the most watertight watch. It doesn’t pose an issue at depth, but if the expanding gas can’t find a way back out during decompression and ascent—like the one provided by a helium escape valve—it can damage the watch.
