The ocean doesn't draw lines. Neither does Scubaspa.

At Scubaspa, adventure is not just a chapter in the story; it’s the whole book. What began as a bold idea in the Maldives has grown into a fleet that sails two of the most extraordinary regions on the planet: the Indian Ocean and the Coral Triangle of the Pacific Ocean. With a foot in both hemispheres - literally - Scubaspa Maldives and Scubaspa Indonesia offer more than a liveaboard trip. They create space for moments that move you, both above and below the surface.

Whether you are diving alongside mantas in the Maldives or drifting over undisturbed coral in Halmahera, every itinerary is a curated blend of exploration, elegance and moments that stay with you long after the salt fades from your skin.

They take you to places that maps don’t quite capture because they believe the best stories begin where the familiar ends.

Maldives: Sailing Into the True North and the Deep South

The Maldives is often imagined as a place of stillness: calm lagoons, hammocks in the breeze, spa days that stretch into starlit dinners. And while all of that is gloriously true on board, Scubaspa Maldives is also about movement, about venturing into corners of the archipelago most never reach.

In 2026, they are launching their newest itinerary: Far Far North, a route that takes guests to the farthest uninhabited and inhabited islands in the country. This is the Maldives as few know it: wild, a cultural paradise, surprising. From the UNESCO-protected Hanifaru Bay to remote northern atolls, this route is about seeing what other liveaboards skip.

Meanwhile, the Deep South itinerary continues to steal hearts. Known for its dramatic channels and frequent shark sightings, it’s a diver’s dream. Add in beach BBQs, expert-led Love Ocean Weeks and sunrise yoga on the top deck, and what starts as a dive holiday becomes something deeper, richer and more personal.

Indonesia: Seven Routes, Infinite Wonder

Indonesia is the kind of place that resists definition. It’s 17,000 islands of mystery and magic, where every vacation feels like the first time. And that’s exactly why Scubaspa Zen Indonesia sails not one but seven distinct routes, through some of the most varied marine regions on Earth.

They have recently added three new expeditions to the mix:

  • A Banda Sea crossing, which traces ancient spice trade routes and offers some of the richest biodiversity on Earth, from hammerhead sightings to volcanic islands steeped in history.
  • Halmahera, one of Indonesia’s last true frontiers, where soft coral gardens meet schooling fish in an untouched paradise few divers have explored.
  • And Alor, a region known for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant wall dives and thrilling macro life. Think harlequin shrimp, rhinopias, frogfish of all kinds and the beautifully elusive thorny seahorse. Not to mention the dolphin superpods and, in season, the rare chance to spot mola molas from the surface.

These routes aren’t just about itinerary variety for guests. They are a reflection of who they are. They explore because they love it. Because even after a decade at sea, their crew still gets excited about discovering something new. And they want their guests to feel that spark too.

A Fleet That Crosses the Equator - Twice

Here’s a fun fact: Both Scubaspa Maldives and Scubaspa Indonesia have itineraries that cross the equator.

In the Maldives, their Deep South route dips into the Southern Hemisphere before looping back, allowing guests to dive in two hemispheres on a single trip. In Indonesia, the Halmahera route pushes north over the line. Guests can even celebrate the crossing with a toast on deck—just ask the cruise director.

It's a small detail, but one that speaks volumes. They don’t just sail to postcard places. They push boundaries: geographically, experientially and intentionally.

Love Ocean Weeks and Meaningful Touches

Back in the Maldives, Scubaspa has created space for something a little different: their signature Love Ocean Weeks. From Love Mantas to Love Whale Sharks and Love Sharks, these themed cruises are all about sharing knowledge and celebrating the incredible marine life guests are lucky to encounter. It’s their way of encouraging learning, connection and the kind of passion that turns a dive trip into something even more meaningful.

Just like their itineraries, the onboard experience is always evolving. It’s designed to feel alive. To offer something more than expected.

Two Boats, One Spirit

Though built in different shipyards and sailing different seas, Scubaspa Yin & Yang (Maldives) and Scubaspa Zen (Indonesia) share the same philosophy: space, service and soul. All of their boats are designed with care. The yachts are built not just to impress but to feel like home. Wide decks, warm lighting, rich wood textures, spa sanctuaries and dive decks that flow smoothly into the sea.

Focused on meaningful ocean encounters, each week invites guests to slow down, connect and experience the water in their own way. Whether someone is a diver, a spa lover or a little bit of both, they’ll find their rhythm on board. And more importantly, they’ll feel like part of something—whether it’s their first trip or their fifth.

The Adventure Continues

For Scubaspa, the best part of running a fleet isn’t growth, it’s momentum. It’s watching guests return year after year, sometimes switching oceans, sometimes bringing friends. It’s knowing that no matter how many times someone travels with them, there’s still something new to see.

That’s what they mean when they say: Scubaspa isn’t a once-in-a-lifetime trip. It’s a fleet for those who never stop exploring.

So … where do you want to explore next?
