Dive Rite’s new premium second stage offers reliable performance in demanding conditions and low work of breathing. The compact, lightweight XT4 uses a streamlined exhaust tee perfect for sidemount or stage bottle setup. An ergonomic knob provides fine-tuning of breathing resistance, and metal parts are coated against abrasion.

SCUBAPRO G260 CARBON

Rugged, freeze-resistant regulator designed to withstand extreme dive conditions.

Jon Whittle

$1,199 | scubapro.com

Sporting a stylish carbon fiber cover and reinforced technopolymer casing, the G260 Carbon Black Tech is lightweight and extremely durable. A tough Black Tech carbon coating protects the exterior from corrosion and minor scratches. The MK19 EVO Black Tech environmentally sealed first stage sports a similar protective coating and a rotating swivel.

SCUBAPRO MK25 EVO/D420

Scubapro MK25 Evo/D420 Regulator

A new take on an innovative design aimed at minimizing breathing effort.

Jon Whittle

$1,020 | scubapro.com

This reg builds upon proven concepts behind earlier D-series models. The D420 second stage locates the diaphragm below the mouthpiece intake for a higher ambient pressure to reduce valve-cracking effort. Paired with the capable MK25 EVO first stage, the D420 has an easy-reach top-mounted Venturi control.

SEAC DX200

Seac DX200 Regulator

High performance and durable construction at an attractive price.

Jon Whittle

$549 | seacsub.com

Smooth breathing and a sleek, rugged design are the hallmarks of Seac’s flagship reg. The balanced-diaphragm first stage is made of chrome-plated forged brass for corrosion resistance, with angled HP and LP ports for optimal hose alignment. The second stage has an easy-grip breathing adjustment and an ergonomic Venturi control.

TUSA RS-681

Tusa RS-681 Regulator

Exhaust-assist design helps smooth the breathing cycle.

Jon Whittle

$699 | tusa.com

The compact, elliptical S-81 second stage features two sets of exhaust ports, with auxiliary exhausts located next to the mouthpiece, to reduce exhalation effort. A ceramic moisture plate prevents dry mouth. The click-spring breathing adjustment allows divers to dial in the perfect breathing resistance, while the Venturi control tames free-flows with ease.

REBREATHER

DIVE RITE O2PTIMA CM

Dive Rite O2Ptima Rebreather

Compact roll-up design weighs just 14.4 pounds for easy travel.

Jon Whittle
