Titan, the world’s fifth-largest watch manufacturer, has introduced its first diver’s watch. By combining heavy-duty performance, advanced materials and a modern, classically inspired design, Titan has delivered one serious-minded and seriously stylish underwater timepiece.

Titan Enters the Dive Watch Market

The India-based company has been delivering high-quality, reliable watches since 1984. Titan’s vast range of collections run the gamut of styles and have included something for every taste and occasion—except a purpose-built diver’s watch. This omission was rectified when Titan announced its first-ever collection of diver’s watches in April 2026, which includes a new 500-meter diver—a professional-grade dive watch engineered as a precision instrument for extreme underwater conditions.

About the New Titan 500-Meter Diver's Watch

Power

The watch is powered by the 7AC0 Calibre, an automatic in-house movement that ensures continuous, accurate timekeeping without the need to manually wind the watch. Its 44.2 mm case is crafted of Grade 2 titanium and features a diver emblem etched into the caseback.

Material

The lightweight titanium material enhances comfort while maintaining excellent durability and corrosion resistance. Equipped with a screw-down crown and caseback, the watch is ISO 6425 compliant to a depth of 1,640 feet (500 meters).

It includes an automatic helium-escape valve to prevent damage from expanding helium gas after deep-sea commercial dives. The watch’s 120-click, one-way rotating Aqua Lock bezel has an integrated bezel lock to secure it from being rotated inadvertently.

Design

Titan’s angular hour indices add a fresh look and feel to the clean, bold dial’s classically inspired dive aesthetic. Their tapered ends and clear centerlines provide precision when glancing at the time. Super-LumiNova is used on the hands and markers to ensure legibility in the dark. This luminous treatment has thoughtfully been applied to the entire bezel, ensuring each index can be clearly viewed during dives with challenging visibility.

Strap Options

The watch includes a titanium bracelet and an interchangeable rubber strap. The waterproof rubber strap provides a sporty, casual look, but more importantly, it is easy to size for a variety of dive suit thicknesses. The bracelet and strap both include a convenient quick-release mechanism that makes it effortless to swap one for the other—a perfect feature for quickly transitioning from the dive boat to a fine-dining reservation.

Titan’s first-ever professional diver’s watch perfectly encapsulates the demands of a hard-wearing, deep-sea tool watch, while seamlessly integrating the company’s legacy of high-quality craftsmanship and timeless style.

TITAN OF INDUSTRY Titan was founded in India in 1984, a time when virtually all watches in the country were only available through a single, state-owned manufacturing company, making them very difficult to access. Titan introduced the first quartz battery watches, along with premium Western styling, to India. Its accessible, affordable watches were an instant hit. Today, Titan is the fifth-largest watch manufacturer in the world by volume. Over the past four decades, Titan has become a lifestyle powerhouse, producing jewelry, eyewear, bags, clothing and more in addition to myriad quartz and mechanical timepieces suited to every style and purpose.
