This clever, easy-to-install tank valve handle provides a clear, easy-to-see visual indicator as to whether the tank valve is on or off. It operates like a normal tank valve, and its colored components automatically shift as the valve is opened and closed. Red means the valve is turned off and not yet ready to dive, while green indicates the valve is on and gas is flowing. The Vindicator can be retrofitted onto most scuba tanks—several models are available to ensure compatibility with a wide range of valve manufacturers. The easy installation process takes only a minute or two to complete. Once installed, divers can check a valve’s status at a glance, providing an additional margin of safety to predive equipment checks. Additionally, the interior ABS plastic components cradle the tank valve stem, protecting the fragile, critical component in the event of a fall or other heavy impact.
